Buckets and containers are an inseparable part of wet cleaning — they hold solutions, rinse mops, and transport water. A professional bucket differs from a household one in shape, measuring scales on the side, and compatibility with wringing systems.

Single and dual buckets

A single bucket with a wringing mechanism is the simplest option for small spaces. A dual bucket with two chambers separates clean solution from dirty — the mop is rinsed in one side, wrung, and dipped into clean solution in the other. This is the standard system for hotels, offices, and hospitals.

Professional buckets have litre markings on the wall , this helps dose cleaning products accurately. Too high a concentration wastes chemicals; too low means poor cleaning results.

Wringing systems
