Virus protection
Virus and bacteria protection products: surface disinfectant liquids, hand sanitisers, disinfectant wipes, and protective supplies. These products are needed in healthcare, education, food service, and offices where preventing the spread of infections matters. Surface disinfectants kill viruses and bacteria on desks, door handles, switches, and other frequently touched equipment. Hand disinfection supplements handwashing with soap where there is no access to water.

Antiviral products: disinfectants with virucidal action
Antiviral products are hand and surface disinfectants whose spectrum of action includes virus elimination. Unlike standard antibacterial products, virucidal disinfectants meet the EN 14476 standard and are effective against both enveloped (influenza, coronaviruses) and non-enveloped (norovirus, adenovirus) viruses.
How they differ from regular disinfectants
Not all disinfectants kill viruses. Standard antibacterial products target only bacteria and fungi. Virucidal disinfectants have a higher concentration of active substance or a specific composition that damages the virus protein coat and nucleic acid. Look for the word "virucidal" on the label or a reference to EN 14476 testing.
"Limited-spectrum virucidal" means the product is effective only against enveloped viruses (influenza, coronaviruses, HIV). "Full-spectrum virucidal" eliminates non-enveloped viruses too — this is the highest level of disinfection.
Virucidal hand disinfectants
Alcohol-based hand disinfectants with 70–80 % ethanol or isopropanol concentration are effective against most enveloped viruses. Full virucidal action (including norovirus) requires specific formulas , usually with phosphoric acid additives or peroxide-based compositions.
Hand disinfectants for a wider selection , from hygienic to surgical , are available in a separate category. Virucidal products are particularly relevant for healthcare facilities, childcare centres, and the food industry.
Virucidal surface disinfectants
Viruses can remain viable on surfaces from a few hours to several days, depending on virus type and surface material. Regular surface disinfection with a virucidal product is mandatory in hospitals, clinics, nurseries, and schools.
Surface disinfectants come as ready-to-use sprays (750 ml , 1 L) and concentrates (1,5 L) that are diluted with water according to manufacturer instructions. Concentrates are more economical for large spaces. Disinfecting cleaners combine cleaning and disinfection in a single step.
